Becoming a Contestant:

The Miss Creole Pageant seeks women that are capable of standing for the philosophy of Miss Creole and demonstrating specific qualities that epitomize the modern Haitian women in today’s society. The Miss Creole’s search focuses on a combination of essential qualities which includes:

  • Being a role model who cares about her role and other women and Haitian women's roles in society;
  • Being a physically conscientious women with confidence and commanding presence;
  • Being an ambassador and public relations representative of the Miss Creole Organization;
  • Being considered as both talented and intelligent;
  • Being an activist on issues she deems important;
  • Being an independent and eloquent communicator with the courage of her convictions;
  • Being an accomplished individual whose diversity represents a composite of the "Best of Modern Women."
  • Being a leader by virtue of her experiences;
  • Being one who takes personal pride in physical fitness and health.

Eligibility Requirements:

The Miss Creole Pageant Program encourages all young women meeting the eligibility requirements to participate.

  • Candidates must be between ages of 18 -28.
  • Candidates must be a High School graduate or GED by January 31 of pageant year.
  • Candidates must be a female of Haitian decent.
  • Never been married or pregnant.
  • Never convicted of a crime.
  • Always been female.
  • Involvement with a social/community issue (your platform)

All candidates meeting the eligibility requirements must submit the following application for this pageant year: (please note: any items missing, will result in the application being discarded)

  • $50 registration fee (this fee is non-refundable and can be paid by check or money order).
  • Signed application and release form.Application (pdf file)
  • Two recent professional photos- All photos will become property of the Miss Creole Organization and will not be returned.
